Who I am…. I’m a Christchurch girl, with a stint in Sydney under my belt, and a husband who loves the NZ outdoors so much that life anywhere but Christchurch seems unthinkable. In 2004, after 5 years in Sydney we moved back to Christchurch, and I set up my own coaching business that same year. We are lucky to be surrounded by terrific family and friends here and enjoy the lifestyle that we have in Christchurch. That said, you can take the girl out of Aussie but you can’t take Aussie out of the girl, and I try to get back there annually to catch up with friends, the shops and the beaches. Having lived there long enough to get Australian citizenship I’ve been known to wind my husband and Kiwi friends up, telling them I’ve got a dollar-each-way when it comes to the Wallabies/All Blacks games!
The things I love most … The people dearest to me - my wonderful husband and my loving, supportive family. Our fabulous friends. My darling god-daughter. Our ever-hungry chocolate Labrador. Our persistent bell-wearing but still bird-catching cat. I also love… Being by the water (boating). Being in the water (think Fiji, or NZ summer only!). Traveling. Walks on the beach. A glass of bubbly. Chick flicks. A great book.
How I became a coach…. I have such a passion for personal development books, courses, you name it, that it was really no surprise to anyone when I decided to put all this learning to great use, combine it with professional coach training and become a coach. I feel enormously grateful that I love what I do and that I get to be part of seeing people light up with the joy of increased motivation, confidence, and the satisfaction of success.
